When Ford unveiled the 2016 Focus RS at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, we bet some of its hot hatch competitors heard the Imperial Death March playing in their head. The Blue Oval has promised one heck of a car, with all-wheel drive and performance stats north of 315 horsepower.

The question on everyone's minds is whether or not this hyper hatch (as the press has decided to call it) will deliver. The answer is a resounding yes, according to reports coming out of Belgium's Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Focus RS will arrive with 345 horsepower, and 324 lb-ft of torque. That places it high above entries from Honda, Volkswagen, and even Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
